The godfather of Brazilian soul. Tim Maia grew up in Tijuca with Roberto Carlos and Erasmo Carlos, spent time in the USA absorbing soul and funk, and returned to create a sound entirely his own. He died in 1998. His tomb in Caju Cemetery is one of the most visited there. Staff can indicate the exact location in Quadra 55, CP 20995.
