Beach Boys, Sonny & Cher, The Ramones
Est. 1950–1984
Operating from October 1950 to 1984, the studio was famous for its custom recording equipment and proprietary echo chambers. It was a key birthplace for Phil Spector's "Wall of Sound" technique and classic tracks by artists like The Beach Boys, Ritchie Valens, and Buffalo Springfield. The original building was destroyed by a fire shortly after it closed in 1984, and the site is now occupied by a strip mall.
