Going Underground Records

The Story

This store was founded in Bakersfield in 2001 by Ron Ramirez and also became a punk label, with numerous releases from bands like Seudo Youth and Human Mess. The Los Angeles location opened on Melrose before moving to Little Tokyo, under the direction of Adam Schwartz. It remains active in Bakersfield and Los Angeles, about to complete 25 years of history.
