The Story

The terraced house in Wavertree where George Harrison was born on 25 February 1943 and lived until the age of six. The family had no bathroom and shared an outdoor toilet with the neighbors. Harrison later said it was the cold winters at Arnold Grove that gave him a lifelong obsession with sunshine and warmth. It is a private residence but a plaque marks the house.
