FOPP Manchester

The Story

Fopp was founded in 1981 in Glasgow. The chain grew rapidly, reaching over 100 stores across the UK by 2007. At its peak, the chain faced financial difficulties and Fopp was eventually bought by HMV. The Manchester branch closed in 2019 during HMV's collapse, reopening months later when the chain was rescued by Sunrise Records, and remains active to this day.
