The Story

This studio operated in a converted warehouse in the Cambuci neighborhood, created in the late 1970s by José Augusto Guidon, known as Guto. In April 1987, Viper entered here to record their debut album, *Soldiers of Sunrise*. The album was released on May 27, 1987, by Rock Brigade Records and became a foundational landmark of Brazilian heavy metal. In addition to Viper, Guidon also recorded Cólera's EP *É Natal!!?* in 1987, and various independent rock, metal, MPB, and gospel music productions from the 80s and 90s. The studio remains active in Cambuci, focusing on independent productions, Christian music, and audio archives.
