Inaugurated in December 2014 in Arpoador, the life-size bronze statue shows Tom Jobim walking with a guitar on his shoulder, as he was seen by the residents of Ipanema in the decades he lived in the neighborhood. It is located on the border between Arpoador and Ipanema Beach, a few meters from the shore he frequented his entire life. One of the most photographed places in Rio by Brazilian and foreign fans.
