The Story

This is the independent record store in West Seattle featuring murals dedicated to Chris Cornell (by artist Son Duong) and Mother Love Bone (painted by Jeff Ament himself). In 2005, Pearl Jam played a surprise show here. The recordings were released as an EP in 2006 and later re-released on vinyl for Record Store Day 2019. The store's owner once found an uncashed royalty check, issued to Kurt Cobain by BMI in March 1991, tucked inside a box of tour itineraries he had purchased in 1993.
