This old electrical substation became a legendary techno club in 1993. It became known as "the Berghain of the 90s," hosting the official closing party for the first European MTV Music Video Awards in 1994. Between 1994 and 1997, it also hosted Chromapark, an annual exhibition of art and installations from the clubbing scene. It closed in 1997, and today the building functions as a multi-purpose event space, hosting temporary techno parties in partnership with the Pallas collective since 2022.
