Dama Xoc

The Story

Opened in August 1988 in a building that had been Cine Goiás until the mid-1970s, Dama Xoc was co-founded by Eduardo Amarante, guitarist of the band Zero, and had a capacity for about 2,500 people in an area of 1,500 m². Plebe Rude, Raul Seixas, Legião Urbana, Titãs, Capital Inicial, Ratos de Porão, and the Ramones played here before its closure in 2003. Today, the building is part of the Sesc Pinheiros facilities.
