The Story
The apartment complex in Capitol Hill where Cameron Crowe directed the 1992 movie Singles. A great film that documents the Seattle grunge scene in real time, with Soundgarden and Alice in Chains participating in the film. Layne Staley, Chris Cornell, and Jeff Ament were all photographed here. It is still a residential building. The movie shows what life was like for young people in Seattle at that time.
