The Story

Founded on September 9, 1977, the Clube do Choro de Brasília is a true temple of Brazilian popular music and one of the most important institutions dedicated to the preservation of Choro in the country, with over 6,000 shows performed. Its current headquarters, designed by Oscar Niemeyer, also houses Brazil's first choro school. Great masters of Brazilian music have graced its stage, and in 2023, the venue hosted Paul McCartney for a surprise show.
