Considered by many to be the greatest Brazilian singer of all time with incredible interpretations in Águas de Março, O Bêbado e a Equilibrista, and Como Nossos Pais. Elis Regina died in January 1982, at the age of 36. She is buried in Morumby Cemetery, the same cemetery where racing idol Ayrton Senna is buried. Her tomb is in Quadra VII - S5 - 2199.
