The Story

Opened in 2015 in a 19th-century mansion in the historic centre, Casa de Francisca became the reference point for São Paulo's contemporary MPB and jazz scene. Intimate shows, acoustic sets and experimental performances in a space that seats around 200. It launched and consolidated a generation of artists including Criolo, Juçara Marçal and Baco Exu do Blues, and has become one of the most important small venues in Brazilian music.
