The cover was photographed by Daniel Kramer at the entrance of Gramercy Park West, 4, between East 20th and East 21st Streets. Bob Dylan is sitting on the steps at the entrance to the building. It is one of the most recognized images in rock history. The building in Gramercy Park remains unchanged to this day. The album, which includes Like a Rolling Stone, is ranked as the fourth best album of all time by Rolling Stone magazine.
