Unerhörte Musik
1988
The fifth floor, inside the commercial building on Mehringdamm, was once a casino and then became the nightclub Dachluke before turning into a theater. In April 1988, a group of cabaret artists called Die Enterbten settled here permanently and founded the Berliner Kabarett Anstalt, the BKA. The space became a hotspot for Berlin's queer and alternative scene. Since its founding, the BKA has presented Unerhörte Musik every week. It remains active and is considered one of the oldest cabaret stages in the city.
