The Story

Bar do Orlando in Santa Tereza is the oldest in the neighborhood, opened in 1919. Older than Clube da Esquina, older than Sepultura, older than the musical identity of Belo Horizonte, but it witnessed all of it, in the same neighborhood that saw both movements born. Today recognized as a Historical and Cultural Heritage of the city, the bar continues to be a refuge for local musicians and artists, with samba and MPB rodas livening up the tables on the sidewalk on weekends. Still open.
