Amy Winehouse Statue

The Story

Bronze statue of Amy Winehouse unveiled in 2014 at Stables Market in Camden, the neighborhood where she grew up and that defined her music. The statue in her honor was sculpted by Scott Eaton. Amy Winehouse died in 2011 at the age of 27. She remains one of the most celebrated British artists of the 21st century. She will not be eligible for an English Heritage Blue Plaque until 2031.
