Seattle's oldest active theatre, opened in 1907. On 9 June 1989, Sub Pop staged the Lame Fest here with Nirvana, Mudhoney and TAD in front of 1400 people, the biggest stage any of them had ever played. Within this single building, Soundgarden recorded the Fopp EP (1988), Alice in Chains filmed Live Facelift (1990), and Pearl Jam shot the Even Flow video (1992).
