The Crocodile

The Story

Opened in April 1991 in Belltown, The Crocodile became the living room of the grunge scene at its original address on 2nd Avenue, where it operated for almost 30 years. In 2021, the club moved to this new location, just a few blocks away. The walls still display iconic photos from that era. Today, Susan Silver, who managed Soundgarden and Alice in Chains, co-owns the club with Sean Kinney, the drummer for Alice in Chains.
