The address in Haight-Ashbury where Sid Vicious briefly lived during The Sex Pistols' final American tour in January 1978. He suffered a non-fatal overdose here. Two weeks before, The Sex Pistols had played their last gig at the Winterland Ballroom. Johnny Rotten quit the band the same night. Sid died of an overdose in New York in February 1979, aged 21.
