Jefferson Airplane House

Jefferson Airplane, Grace Slick

· 1967

The Story

The beautiful house on Fulton Street is where Jefferson Airplane lived communally during the Summer of Love, just blocks from Golden Gate Park. Grace Slick wrote 'White Rabbit' and 'Somebody to Love' during this period. The house and the band became a model for the collective artistic life that defined the Haight-Ashbury experiment. Private residence.
