The Story
The cover was photographed in the early morning at the Primrose Hill viewpoint, in November 1966, after an all-night recording session at Olympic Studios. Photographer Gered Mankowitz improvised a filter on the lens to create the blurred effect. The exact spot is the viewpoint at the top of the hill, looking west towards London.
