Pulp Different Class

The Story

It was in this church that Dom and Sharon O'Connor got married in August 1995, and where the cover of Pulp's *Different Class* was photographed. The couple was organizing the wedding on a tight budget, and photographer Donald Milne, who was busy with work for Pulp at the time, agreed to cover the wedding in exchange for also taking some playful photos, posing the family and guests alongside life-size cutouts of the band members. The family only discovered that their own wedding photo had become an album cover when the groom's mother saw a promotional poster in an HMV store. In 2013, during the band's first reunion, Jarvis Cocker sent the O'Connor couple an autographed poster with the message "Thanks very much Dom and Sharon for letting us crash your wedding".
