Praça Eduardo e Mônica

The Story

The square inside the City Park was named after the famous 1986 Legião Urbana song from the album Dois. The lyrics directly reference the park: "They met then, in City Park / Mônica on her motorcycle and Eduardo on his "camelo"." "Camelo" is Brasília slang for bicycle. A monument at the location honors the song and the artist. A very well-deserved tribute to a great anthem of Brasília rock.
