The Story

Despite the name, this store doesn't only sell CDs. O Pequeno Mundo dos CDs has a collection of vinyl records with prices that are rare nowadays, well below the average inflated by the format's recent boom. Collectors have found here a copy of Luiz Melodia's 1973 *Pérola Negra*, a fundamental Brazilian music album much sought after by diggers. It is still active, one of the less obvious spots on the record circuit in downtown Rio, very close to the old Zicartola.
