Nacional Club Jazz Mansion

The Story

This mansion was designed in the 1940s by architect Jacques Pillon, with landscaping by Burle Marx and decoration by Di Cavalcanti. On December 18, 1958, the residence became the headquarters of the Nacional Club, one of São Paulo's most traditional social clubs, founded to bring together São Paulo's elite. Since 2017, the Nacional Club has been one of the historic mansions regularly occupied by Jazz Mansion, an independent music platform created in 2016 by Dennis Vianêz, which transformed the club into one of the meeting points for the city's jazz scene. The 10th-anniversary edition, in August 2026, brought together more than 40 national and international artists. It remains active, both as a private club and as a recurring venue for jazz shows.
