The Story

This stadium, inaugurated in 1965 as Estádio Governador Magalhães Pinto, is one of Brazil's main venues for large-scale concerts. Paul McCartney has performed there three times, with the most memorable show on May 4, 2013, which marked the world premiere of his Out There! tour. Elton John, Beyoncé, Guns N' Roses, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith, Roger Waters, and Kiss have also played at the legendary stadium.
