This blue residence in Olympia is where Kurt Cobain lived from 1989 to 1991, first with girlfriend Tracy Marander, then with Dave Grohl. Many of Nirvana's most famous songs began here. Kathleen Hanna of Bikini Kill wrote 'Kurt Smells Like Teen Spirit' on an apartment wall. Cobain turned the phrase into the song that changed music history. Private residence.
