Jacaranda Record Store

The Story

This shop opened in June 2015, occupying the first floor of the legendary Jacaranda music venue, in the same space that in the 1950s housed Syd's Disk Den, the city's pioneering jazz record store. It was founded in the midst of the vinyl revival boom by Graham Stanley, who took over management of Jacaranda in 2014. It remains active, connecting generations of music in the same place. From 1950s jazz to today's vinyl.
