Aborto Elétrico, Blitx 64, Banda 69, Plebe Rude, Legião Urbana
1980
This building is affectionately known by generations of students as Minhocão, with its curved concrete structure designed by Oscar Niemeyer. The entrance of ICC Norte was the scene of big gatherings for Brasília's rock bands in the 80s. Aborto Elétrico, Blitz 64, Banda 69 and Plebe Rude performed for students during the day, and on weekends the shows moved to the Department of Architecture, consolidating the city's rock movement. The moment was immortalized in a scene from the movie Faroeste Caboclo, filmed here. Official spot on the Brasília Capital do Rock Route.
