Aborto Elétrico, Blitx 64
1979
The bar in Asa Norte was an essential meeting point for rock fans and musicians in the early 80s. In 1979, the owner of the bar, pianist and conductor Rênio Quintas, lent the basement of Cafofo for the rehearsals of Aborto Elétrico, Renato Russo's band, and Blitx 64, asking only one thing: "Don't break anything!". Years later, he himself would ironically summarize what happened there: "They didn't break anything, and they broke everything." It was part of the network of bars, rehearsal spaces, and meeting points that gave Brasília its unique identity in rock. Listed on the official Rock Route.
