Frank Zappa, Mothers of Invention
1968–1993
The house where Frank Zappa lived with his wife Gail and their children from 1968 until his death in 1993. Before moving here, Zappa lived briefly in the legendary "Log Cabin," a popular meeting point for musicians in Laurel Canyon, but it was here, on Woodrow Wilson Drive, that he spent most of his life in Los Angeles, in a neighborhood that also housed neighbors like Joni Mitchell, Graham Nash, and Cass Elliot of The Mamas and the Papas.
