LA Woman was recorded almost entirely at SIR Studios on Santa Monica Blvd after The Doors and the producer had a falling out. The band set up an impromptu studio in a rehearsal warehouse. It's the last album with Jim Morrison alive. He died weeks after its release. Today there's a restaurant in its place.
