The Story
London's most famous music street, running between Charing Cross Road and St Giles High Street. Home to music publishers, recording studios and instrument shops since the 1890s. The Rolling Stones recorded their debut album here. The Sex Pistols squatted at number 6. Elton John and Bernie Taupin wrote their early songs at number 20. Still has instrument shops operating today.
