The Story

This store opened in February 1988 on Adalbertstraße, in Kreuzberg, founded by a group of punk rockers from the local scene. David Strempel joined as a teenage customer, looking for a Suicidal Tendencies record, and became a partner in the store in 1996, when Coretex merged with Fun Records and the Mad Mob label. Today it serves as a reference point for Kreuzberg's punk and hardcore scene, hosting bands like Agnostic Front, Madball, Gorilla Biscuits, and Dropkick Murphys for flash shows inside the store itself. It remains active.
