Bikini Waxx Records

The Story

This shop was born at the end of 2013, when Gerd Tammist started selling records. Over time, with colleagues Yannik Zander and Alexander Skancke already on the team, the business became a physical store inside a courtyard near Skalitzer Straße. The curation of used records spans techno, house, African funk, Mediterranean disco, Italo disco, Balearic, ambient, and even Brazilian Tropicália, keeping a good part of its collection available only in the physical store, outside the online catalog. It remains active and is considered one of the best-kept secrets of Berlin's vinyl scene.
