The Story

The exterior of Afflecks Palace in the Northern Quarter features tiled murals honoring Manchester music icons, including a tribute to the cover of Unknown Pleasures, designed by Peter Saville in 1979. Since the original artwork has no physical location, these tiles are the closest thing to a visit to the cover.
