The Story

Opened in March 1991 in the vaults of a former department store near Potsdamer Platz, the club that invented the Berlin techno sound in the months after the Wall fell. Tresor was the first venue to bring Juan Atkins, Jeff Mills and Underground Resistance from Detroit to Europe. Closed in 2005, it reopened in 2007 in the former Kraftwerk power plant just next to it. Still active.
