The Story
Founded by Disney arranger Tutti Camarata in 1958, Sunset Sound became one of the most respected studios in Los Angeles. The Doors recorded The Doors and Strange Days here. Led Zeppelin recorded Led Zeppelin IV, featuring "Stairway to Heaven," and Prince recorded Purple Rain, the album that became a movie and transformed his career.
