Cólera, Olho Seco, Ratos de Porão, Inocentes, Lixomania
· 1982
In 1982, this brutalist cultural center designed by Lina Bo Bardi hosted the festival O Começo do Fim do Mundo (The Beginning of the End of the World), the event that launched São Paulo punk to a wider audience. Cólera, Olho Seco, Ratos de Porão, Inocentes, and Lixomania played. Radio host Kid Vinil helped bring the scene to the mainstream. It remains one of São Paulo's most important cultural centers.
