Renato Russo
1994
Renato Russo left Brasília for Rio in 1990 and settled in this building in Ipanema, where he lived until his death in 1996. The cover of his first solo album, Stonewall Celebration, was photographed right in front of it. The building was later declared a Cultural Heritage Site of Rio de Janeiro, a rare tribute to a rock musician among the city's cultural listings.
