Michael Jackson
2009
This French château-style mansion was built in 2002 and rented by Michael Jackson in December 2008 for $100,000 a month, while he was rehearsing for the This Is It tour. It was here that he died on June 25, 2009. In the following days, the house became a spontaneous vigil point, with fans leaving flowers, posters, and notes in front of the gate. Even today, it is a frequent stop for tour buses and fan visits on significant dates.
