Locomotiva Discos

The Story

This store was opened in 2011 by brothers Gilberto and Márcio Custódio, in shops 8 and 51 of Galeria Nova Barão. Márcio had previously been a DJ and party producer in London and São Paulo before opening the store. Locomotiva Discos became known for its catalog of rarities, including rock, soul, jazz, funk, punk, and MPB. It remains active within the gallery.
