The Story
American musician Tim Rose was a member of the bands The Smoothies and The Big Three before pursuing a solo career. His 1966 recording of "Hey Joe" predated and influenced Jimi Hendrix's famous version. He passed away in 2002 and is buried in Brompton Cemetery, West London, one of London's seven Magnificent Cemeteries, opened in 1840.
