The most important record store in the history of Brazilian metal, it opened in 1978 in Galeria do Rock. More than a store, it was a label, distributor, and meeting point for the Brazilian extreme music scene. The Baratos Afins label released the first albums by Ratos de Porão, Korzus, Vulcano, and Dorsal Atlântica, among dozens of other bands, at a time when no major label would touch them. It is still active at the same address.
