Baratos Afins

The Story

The most important record store in the history of Brazilian metal opened in 1978 in Galeria do Rock, initially as a used record store. In 1982, it also became a record label, distributor, and meeting point for the Brazilian extreme music scene. The Baratos Afins label released important albums by Korzus, Ratos de Porão, Dorsal Atlântica, and Vulcano, among dozens of other bands. It is still active at the same address.
