QG dos Raimundos

The Story

Address in Lago Sul where neighbors Digão and Rodolfo Abrantes met and formed Raimundos in 1987. The band started as a Ramones cover band. In the 90s, Raimundos became one of the most important Brazilian rock bands, known for mixing hardcore punk with forró in a style that became known as "forró-core", an influence brought mainly by Rodolfo, whose family is from Paraíba. The band was created in Brasília and this address marks their early days. Rodolfo left the band and other lineups happened, and unfortunately we lost bassist Canisso in 2023.
