The Story

One of the most influential figures in jazz history and a global ambassador for American music. Armstrong lived in Corona, Queens from 1943 until his death. His home nearby is now the Louis Armstrong House Museum. His grave in Flushing is a regular pilgrimage destination for jazz fans worldwide.
