The Story

Built on the shores of Lake Paranoá in 1955 as a tribute to Don Bosco's dream, who in 1883 allegedly envisioned a great civilization emerging between the 15th and 20th parallels South, exactly where Brasília was built. The surrounding lawn became a natural stage for open-air rock concerts, with the Lake and the city in the background. On September 12, 2009, Plebe Rude recorded their DVD Rachando Concreto ao Vivo em Brasília here, released in 2011, celebrating both the 25th anniversary of "Concreto Já Rachou" and Brasília's 50th anniversary. The stage was open, without a backdrop, to highlight the typical Central Plateau sunset. The album was nominated for a Latin Grammy. This is an official stop on the Brasília Capital do Rock Route.
