The Story

In the 1980s, the space of the old cinema and commercial gallery in block 102/103 was called "Adega" (wine cellar) by rockers, due to a small beverage distributor that operated there, and known by the general population as "Janjão" because of the traditional snack bar in the block. More than a commercial center or exhibition hall, the place was where the friendship between Brasília's punks was consolidated. Bands like Aborto Elétrico and Plebe Rude gathered there to exchange ideas, discuss politics, and plan shows. Official stop on the Brasília Capital do Rock Route.
